  • Great for winter interest.

  • Flowers from late winter to spring.
  • Many are evergreen and some have attractive silver marbled leaves.
  • Plant from autumn to spring in moist, but free draining soil.
  • Most are hardy and happy in light shade.
  • Remove damaged or disease leaves in autumn/winter.
  • Divide in autumn. Propagate species by seed.
